National Day for Truth & Reconciliation
Sep 30

On this National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we remember the children who never returned home from residential schools. We honour Survivors and acknowledge the lasting impacts carried by families and communities across generations.
TRUTH MUST BE HEARD. That means listening to Survivors and learning the history of residential schools and their continuing impacts.
TRUST MUST BE EARNED. Through respect, accountability, and following through on commitments.
RECONCILIATION MUST BE LIVED. In our relationships, our decisions, and our actions—beyond September 30.
Every Child Matters.
